There is no impact to the general fund. Funds are generated from property taxes and program revenues in County
Service Area M-17.
REASONS FOR RECONINIENDATIONS AND BACKGROUND: �
I
D&H Landscaping provides landscape and grounds maintenance services in County Ser-iceArea M-17. These
services include maintenance of MonTaraBav Community- Center grounds and balltield complex (3.5, acres) and
Montalvin Park (7 acres). The contract increase is for the repair of a water main leak on the soccer field. the
I
installation of a drain underneath the playstructure. and addition of bark underneath the playstructure.

CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTIO\:
Necessary- landscape repairs cannot be implemented for Montahvin Park without a contract increase for these �
services.

Amendment Specifications

Count agrees to increase the payment limit in exchange for contractor's
performance of the following work which was not required under the original j
contract:
1. Install drainage system under the play structure at Montal in Park to remove
excess water that accumulates in that area and assure proper drainage in the
play structure area.
?. Install 30 yards of redwood bark inside play structure area to raise grade and
provide cushioning underneath and around play structure.
3. Locate and repair a leak in the main water line at Montalv in Park. repair i
miscellaneous sprinklers. and ensure that the sprinkler system is working I
properly. i
