Uilkema, Chair of the Board of Supervisors, invited the public to speak. The following persons presented testimony: Ms. Leslie Stewart, 3398 Wren Avenue, Concord, County Chair for Equality California Advocacy for the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Association. Ms. Steward presented the Board with a CD Rom, titled "Marriage Equality Resolutions." Ms Stewart also stated that she has had difficulties with e-mail correspondence to each of the Supervisors. Mr. Rollie Katz, PEU Local 1, Business Manager, addressed the Board regarding the County Management retirees using the practice of a revolving door; referring to Item C.112. Also stating that this practice affects the merit system as well as the retirement system using a double standard in that it circumvents the merit system. A citizen of the County sent an e-mail for the Board's review requesting a speed bump to be installed on Marina Road in Baypoint, CA THIS IS A MATTER FOR RECORD PURPOSES ONLY NO BOARD ACTION WAS TAKEN
