SUBJECT: Parking on Valley View Road (Road No. 1371B), El Sobrante area.
The Contra Costa Board of Supervisors RESOLVES that:
Based on the recommendations of the County Public Works Department's Transportation
Engineering Division, and pursuant to County Ordinance Code Sections 46-2.002 -
46-2.012, the following traffic regulation is established (and other action taken as
indicated):
Rescind Traffic Resolution No. 2562 that prohibits parking between 7:00 am
and 6:00 pm, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted on the westerly
side of Valley View Road (Road No. 1371 B), beginning at the City Limits of
Richmond and extending southeasterly to the intersection of Pine Hill Drive,
and return this area to a regular parking zone, El Sobrante area.
Traffic Resolution No. 2562 pertaining to parking is hereby rescinded.

The Contra Costa Board of Supervisors RESOLVES that:
On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey and recommendations thereon by the County
Public Works Department's Transportation Engineering Division and pursuant to County Ordinance
Code Sections 45-2.002—46-2.012,the following traffic regulation is established (and other action
taken as indicated):
Pursuant to Section 22358 of the California Vehicle Code, no vehicle shall travel in excess of
the following speeds on the following portions of Sunset Road, Brentwood area.
50 miles per hour, beginning at the Brentwood city limits and extend easterly to a point 0.50
mile west of Eden plains Road, a distance of 1.4 miles and
40 miles per hour, beginning at a point 0.50 west of Eden Plains Road and extending
easterly to a point 0.30 mile east of Eden Plains Road, a distance of 0.80 mile, and
50 miles per hour, beginning at a point 0.30 mile west of Eden Plains Road and extending
easterly to Byron Highway, a distance of 0.70 mile.
Traffic Resolution No. 2391 pertaining to speed limits is hereby rescinded.

Based on the recommendations by the County Public Works Department's Transportation
Engineering Division, and pursuant to County Ordinance Code Sections 46-2.002 -
46-2.012, the following traffic regulation is established (and other action taken as
indicated):
Pursuant to Section 22503 and 22507 of the California Vehicle Code, angle
parking shall be required on the north side of Wanda Street (Road No.
2295Q)beginning at 2nd Street(Road No. 2295W)and extending easterly to
3rd Street (Road No. 2295AX)
Pursuant to Section 22507 and 22511.7 of the California Vehicle Code
declaring parking to be prohibited at all times except for vehicles of
individuals with disabilities (blue curb) on the north side of Wanda Street
(Road No. 2295Q), beginning at a point 18 feet east of the eastern curb line
of 2nd Street(Road No. 2295W)and extending easterly a distance of 14 feet,
Crockett area.

On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey and recommendations thereon by the County
Public Works Department's Transportation Engineering Division and pursuant to County Ordinance
Code Sections 46-2.002—46-2.012,the following traffic regulation is established (and other action
taken as indicated):
Pursuant to Section 22358 of the California Vehicle Code the following speed limits
are established for the unincorporated sections of Taylor Boulevard, Pleasant Hill
area.
35 miles per hour, from the Pleasant Hill Road gore to a point 1500 feet north of the
gore, and
55 miles per hour, from a point 1500 feet north of the Pleasant Hill Road gore to the
Pleasant Hill City limits.
Traffic Resolution Nos. 1745 and 1746 pertaining to speed limits are hereby rescinded.
