Reasons for Recommendations and Background: Pursuant to an agreement between the COUNTY,Drainage Area 37A,and Kay Building Incorporated, costs associated with the construction of major trunk storm drainage system and reimbursement of such costs incurred by the County and developer would come from future drainage fees collected by District Drainage Area 37A. The original agreement called for the reimbursement of the COUNTY and developer to come from drainage fees collected within the drainage district for a 15-year period from December 3, 1974, the effective date of the original agreement. Drainage Area 37A drainage fee collections were not sufficient to cover all costs associated with the agreement. IV. Consequences of Neeative Action: The General Fund will reflect a receivable that is no longer collectable.
