However, due to an administrative oversi ght by tooth parties, the Department .inadvertently overlooked processing the formal document to amend the Contract prior to the Contract termination dare of June 30, 2003 . Seryices were requested and provided beyond the payment limit and. by the end of june 30, 2003 , charges of $42, 076 . 33 had been incurred, of which $35, 000 had been paid and $7, 076.33 remains outstanding. The Department is requesting that the amount at due the Contractor be paid. This cant be accomplished by the hoard of. Supervisors ratifying the actions of the County employees in obtaining provision of services of a value in excess of the contract payment limit .
