HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 08122003 - C.9-C.11 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Resolution on August 12, 2003, by the following vote: AYES: SUPERVISORS GIOIA, UILKEMA, GREENBERG, GLOVER AND DESAULNIER NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE TRAFFIC RESOLUTION NO, 2003/4014 ABSTAIN: NONE Supervisorial District 11 SUBJECT: Pursuant to Section 22353 of the California Vehicle Code, no vehicle shall travel in excess of 55 miles per hour on the entire length of Cummings Skyway (Road No.1991), Crockett area. The Contra Costa Board of Supervisors RESOLVES that: Pursuant to County Ordinance Code Sections 46-2.002 - 46-2.004 and 46-2.008 - 46-2.012, the following traffic regulation is established (and other action taken as indicated). Pursuant to Section 22358 of the California Vehicle Code, no vehicle shall travel in excess of 55 miles per hour on the entire length of Cummings Skyway (Road No.1991), Crockett area. Traffic Resolution #1730 pertaining to the existing speed limit is hereby rescinded. The Contra Costa Board of Supervisors RESOLVES that: On the basis of a traffic and engineering survey and recommendations thereon by the County Public Works Department's Traffic Engineering Division, and pursuant to County Ordinance Code Sections 46-2.002-46-2.012,the following traffic regulation is established (and other action taken as indicated): Rescind previous Traffic Resolution Number 3084 for Pacifica Avenue(Road No. 5094B) and Port Chicago Highway(Road No. 3481 C ), Bay Point area. The existing resolution declares that this intersection to be a three-way stop controlled intersection, stop control is no longer necessary as the intersection has been signalized. The Contra Costa Board of Supervisors RESOLVES that: On the basis of a traffic and engineering survey and recommendations thereon by the County Public Works Department's Traffic Engineering Division, and pursuant to County Ordinance Code Sections 46-2.002 v 46-2.012,the following traffic regulation is established (and other action taken as indicated): Pursuant to Section 22507 of the California Vehicle Code parking is hereby declared to be prohibited at all times on the west side of Parker Avenue (Road No.0971 C), Rodeo area, beginning at a point 300 feet north of the center line of the intersection of Fourth Street and extending northerly a distance of 20 feet.
