Home My WebLink AboutMINUTES - 07082003 - SD8 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Resolution on July 8, 2003, by the following vote: AYES: supEmsoRs GIOIA, UnMA AM GTDM NOES: t ABSENT: SUPEWIsoR DeSAMM ABSTAIN: rNE blSTttIGT III SEAT vcAnrr RESOLUTION NO 2003/43 SUBJECT: ADOPT Resolution No. 2003/430 confirming the Final Engineer's Report for Contra Costa County,Discovery Bay West Parking District to levy and collect the annual assessments of parking lot maintenance on the Fiscal Year 2003/2004 tax roll,Byron area. {District III)Project No. 7771 - 6X5167 The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: The Public Works Director,Engineer of Work for Contra Costa County,Discovery Bay West Parking District has filed an annual report for Fiscal Year 2003/2004, and the Board adopted its Resolution of Intention to levy and collect assessments within the Parking Assessment District for Fiscal Year 2003/2004 the public hearing held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2003, in the Chambers of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa, Administration Building,651 Pine Street,Martinez,California 94553. Notice of the hearing was given in the time and manner required by law. At the public hearing,the Board afforded to every interested person an opportunity to make a protest to the annual report either in writing or orally, and the Board has considered each protest. The Board hereby overrules each of these protests and finds that the protest against the proposed improvements in each zone, including all written protests not withdrawn in writing before the conclusion of the protest hearing, is made by the owners of less than one-half of the area of the land to be assessed. The Board then closed the public hearing. The Board hereby confirms the Final Engineer's Report,diagram and assessments as set forth in the annual report of the Assessment Engineer of Work and hereby levies the assessment to be placed on the tax rolls set forth therein for Fiscal Year 2003/2004.
