However, they have decided.to retire early and move to Pleasant Hilt,Tennessee to be closer to their children and grandchildren;and WHERF4$ Pat Weide ran as her first major accomplishment worked hard to get the County Connection to move the fixed route bus stop from the corner of Longbrook and Ellinwood to a place directly in front of her home;and WHEREAS Pat Weidemm was then asked to report on the transportation issues at the Commission on Aging meetings. She was one of three who authored a grant to secure a senior van. She has served as a member of the Commission;and 971LERFAS, Pat Weidemm has received the Citizen of the Year award and the Mayor's award;and W.HERFAS, Pete Weideman thoroughly enjoyed recruiting city officials and dignitaries for the Pleasant Hills' 4" of July dunk tank and presenting participants with the right gift on the day of the event;and 9WEREAS, Pete Weideman is very proud of the work he has done at Rodgers Ranch. Through his direction, Pete's Painting Posse painted the house and scheduled open houses for people to see what the ranch was all about. He persuaded local vendors to contribute thousands of dollars for the bathroom renovation; and WHEREAS, Pete Weiderim has received the Mayor's award and the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Appreciation award NOW, T.HEREFOI?F, BE IT RESOLVED that this Board of Supervisors does hereby honor Pete and Pat Wddeman and extend its best wishes on their retirement in Pleasant Hill, Tennessee.
