HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 11052002 - C24-C25 In the Matter of Honoring ) Thomas Zimmerman for his Work ) To Imlprove Public and Environmental Health ) RESOLUTION NO. 2002/677 Whereas, Thomas Zimmerman joined the Public and Environmental Health Advisory Board (PEHAB) in 1994 and continued as a dedicated board member for more than seven years, while maintaining strong commitments to his legal profession,family responsibilities,and teaching as a visiting instructor for Southern Illinois University; and Whereas,Thomas Zimmerman provided leadership, direction, passion, and a sense of humor to PEHAB as Chairperson from July 1997 until September 2002; and Whereas,Thomas Zimmerman provided leadership to the board as Chairperson of PEHAB's environmental health subcommittee for three years; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors does hereby thank Thomas Zimmerman with sincere appreciation for giving so much of himself to improve public and environmental health in Contra Costa County. PASSED by a unanimous vote of the Board of Supervisors members present this 5th day of November 2002.
