HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 08132002 - C9 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Resolution on August 13, 2002, by the following vote: AYES: SUPERVISORS GERBER, UILKEMA, DESAULNIER, GLOVER, AND GIOIA NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE RESOLUTION NO. 2002/ 484 (Streets & Highways Code § 060) SUBJECT: ADOPT Resolution No. 2002/484 approving Exchange of Surplus Real Property located at 2100 Crestview Drive, Pittsburg. Project No. 4660-6X4287 Pittsburg Area The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: Contra Costa County acquired certain real property on May 31, 2001 in the City of Pittsburg, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for highway purposes. Said property is DETERMINED to be surplus and no longer necessary for County or other public purposes.The parcel was purchased with Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA)funds. This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the exchange of said property to James J. Busby and Irvin Deutscher, a Partnership, pursuant to Streets & Highways Code Section 960 and the Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Grant Deed reserving a Temporary Construction Easement until September 30, 2003 described in Exhibit"B"attached hereto as partial compensation for a condemnation action. The estimated fair market value of the property is $122,035.00. The remaining balance shall be paid in cash by the County and reimbursed by Contra Costa Transportation Authority as agreed upon in a settlement condemnation agreement.The County is acquiring approximately.82 acres of land for the State Route 4 East Project on behalf of the Contra Costa Transportation Agency. The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said Grant Deed to be delivered to the grantee. The Board of Supervisors ADOPTED the Mitigated Negative Declaration/Finding of No Significant Impact on March 27, 2001. These property rights are required for the construction of an expanded freeway along the southern portion of State Route 4 in the City of Pittsburg in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
