Ramon Valley Boulevard Traffic)
Signal (0662-6R4233) )
On May 18, 1982 the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County
advertised for bids for the construction of several traffic signals in
the Bishop Ranch area, and
Since one of the signals was not completed the County requested
the City of San Ramon to authorize the County to Advertise for Bids,
Award and Administer the Contract for Modifying the existing traffic
signal at Bollinger Canyon Road at San Ramon Valley Boulevard at no cost
to the City; and
The Public Works Director has now informed the Board that the City
Council by Resolution No. 51-83 adopted October 11, 1983 authorized the
County to Act on Behalf of the City; and
The Public Works Director recommends the Board approve the agreement
and that he be authorized to execute on behalf of the Board a Joint Exercise
of Powers Agreement (Project No. 0662-6R4133-83) ;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Board of Supervisors Approves the
Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement with the City of San Ramon to modify
the Bollinger Canyon Road/San Ramon Valley Boulevard traffic signal .
NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the Public Works Director is
AUTHORIZED on behalf of the Board of Supervisors to execute the Joint
Exercise of Powers Agreement for the above mentioned work.
