FISCAL IMPACT:
Staff cost is estimated to be $2,000 to $3,000 per year (unfunded mandate).
BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS:
On February 12, 2002 the Board of Supervisors authorized the redesignation of the Contra
Costa County Historical Landmarks Advisory Committee to include four members of the Contra
Costa County Historical Society and the Community Development Director. The Historical
Landmarks Advisory Committee will be proposing points of historical interest for registration by
the State and other agencies. The Historical Society has submitted their four nominees for
approval. The Community Development Department recommends that the Board of
Supervisors appoint Ms. Hueners, Mr. Label, Mr. O'Brien and Ms. Seabury to the CCCHLAC for
four-year terms.
