BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS: On February 12, 2002 the Board of Supervisors authorized the redesignation of the Contra Costa County Historical Landmarks Advisory Committee to include four members of the Contra Costa County Historical Society and the Community Development Director. The Historical Landmarks Advisory Committee will be proposing points of historical interest for registration by the State and other agencies. The Historical Society has submitted their four nominees for approval. The Community Development Department recommends that the Board of Supervisors appoint Ms. Hueners, Mr. Label, Mr. O'Brien and Ms. Seabury to the CCCHLAC for four-year terms.
