FINANCIAL IMPACT: The estimated project cost for the Stone Valley Road Left Turn Lane at Monte Vista High School project is $120,400 funded 100%by Regional Measure C Funds. The Real Property transactions will be covered by the Regional Measure C Funds. 111. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND: The purpose of the activity is to acquire permanent right of way and a temporary easement on behalf ofthe Town of Danville in support of their Stone Valley Road Left Turn Lane at Monte Vista High School Project. Acquisition of the permanent right of way and a temporary construction easement has been determined to be exempt from CEQA pursuant to Article 5, Section 15061(b)(3) of the CEQA guidelines. Actual construction of the project was determined to be exempt from CEQA by the Town of Danville. It can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the real property transaction activity may have a significant adverse effect on the environment. The activity has been determined to be exempt from general Plan Conformance because it involves a road alignment project of a minor nature. IV. CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Delay in approving the project may impede the necessary real property transactions and will delay implementation of the project by the Town of Danville. It can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility the activity may have a significant adverse effect on the environment. DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY: The activity consists of the acquisition of permanent right of way and a temporary construction easement along Stone Valley Road (Figures 1-4). The permanent right of way acquisition consists of approximately 1,330 square feet for slope and drainage easement purposes (Figure 3). This permanent right of way acquisition will occur on a portion of parcel #APN 193-200-005 (Figure 5). The temporary construction easement consists of approximately 6,500 square feet in the same vicinity (Figure 4). The right of way transactions are being conducted on behalf of the Town of Danville in support of their Stone Valley Road Left Turn Lane at Monte Vista High School Project. CEQA analysis for impacts associated with the left turn lane project was conducted by the Town of Danville. LOCATION: The property acquisitions are located along Stone Valley Road near the intersection of Stone Valley Road and Monte Sereno Drive near Monte Vista High School (Figures 1 —5). The permanent acquisition will occur on APN 193-200-005.
