FISCAL IMPACT: Approval of this Agreement will result in a total payment to Contra. Costa County of $136, 875 . Standard Contract #24-920 with Fred Finch Youth Center provides intensive day treatment program and medication support services for seriously emotionally disturbed children (dually diagnosed) who are enrolled in the Fred Finch Youth Center Residential/Day Treatment Programs. Contra Costa County is acting as the host County for the Fred Finch Program, therefore, counties needing services will need to contract with Contra Costa for those services . Approval of Contract #29-505-4 will allow San Mateo County to continue paying Contra Costa County $125 per day for bed usage at the Fred French Youth Center through June 30, 2003 . x N H I . The facility will serve youth, ages 12-18, who have been rejected by or discharged from other Level 14 facilities due to the severity of their behavioral problems . Community Treatment Facility Services are required to address the specific needs of Contra. Costa and Solano Counties most seriously disturbed adolescents, and to reduce the need for State hospitalization of these children. Solano County has arranged to have 25°s of the program beds (four beds) designated for their use, and will provide Contra Costa County 25ti of program and start-up costs to cover this utilization. BACKGROUND The project involves the relocation of the Audit/Account Adjustment Department from the third floor to the first floor at 50 Douglas Drive, Martinez. Project scope includes the development of a workstation layout plan, modifications to existing workstations and power poles and data/voice outlets relocation. Interactive Resources was selected to provide architectural services and project management services for this project because it successfully provided similar services for other County projects and is familiar with the Department of Child Support Services programs and space requirements.
