ROD AND GUN CLUB ON A 39.34-ACRE PARCEL (COUNTY FILE #LP992027) BY
THE SILVER HILLS ESTATES HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION, CAMINO DIABLO
HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION AND BRENTWOOD ROD AND GUN CLUB. THE
SITE IS ADDRESSED 280 CAMINO DIABLO, IN THE BYRON AREA.

Continue the hearing to October 16, 2001 at 1:00 P.M.
BACKGROUND
This item was continued from August 7, 2001 to September 18, 2001 to allow time for the
following:
• Site Visit: Board members requested that staff assist them in scheduling a site
visit to listen to ambient noise levels in the site vicinity, and the noise levels
associated with the discharge of firearms.

• Research: The Board requested that staff research specific questions posed by Board
members prior to the continued public hearing.
The attorney for the applicant has a schedule conflict on September 18th, and
representatives of the appellants have been contacted. All parties are in agreement with
rescheduling the continued public hearing to October 16th at 1:00 P.M.
