HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09112001 - C.5 �S THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on September 11, 2001 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Gioia, Gerber, DeSaulnier, Glover and Uilkema NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: Ratify prior decision of the Public Works Director to fully close all of Trinity Avenue on September 3,2001 from 1:00 PM through 9:00 PM,for the purpose of the neighborhood block party, Kensington area. RC-01-15 The Public Works Director having reported that prior approval has been granted to Kimberly Welch to fully close Trinity Avenue, except for emergency traffic,on September 3, 2001 for the period of 1:00 PM through 9:00 PM, subject to the following conditions: 1. Traffic will be detoured via neighboring streets. 2. All signing to be in accordance with the State of California Manual of Traffic Controls. 3. Kimberly Welch shall comply with the requirements of the Ordinance Code of Contra Costa County. 4. Have on file with the County Public Works Department at the Application and Permit Center a Certificate of Insurance in the amount of$1,000,000 for Comprehensive General Public Liability which names the County as an additional insured. 5. Obtain approval for the closure from the Sheriff's Department, the California Highway Patrol and the Fire District. IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the action taken by the Public Works Director is approved.
