ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: Consulting Services Agreement with ) Parsons, Brinckerhoff, Quade and ) Douglas, San Francisco, California ) 7520-6B8665 50% ) 4580-6G5512 50% The Public Works Director having recommended that the Board approve an Agreement with Parsons, Brinckerhoff, Quade and Douglas, San Francisco, California, for $6,500, to provide consulting services in connection with the acquisition of the abandoned railroad right of way and authorize the Public Works Director to execute said agreement. The services will include the development of a joint use plan to insure a coordinated use of the Southern Pacific Railroad Right of Way for the City of Walnut Creek South Broadway Extension and the Flood Control District San Ramon Creek Bypass Project and the preservation of a future transportation corridor. The cost of work performed under this agreement shall be equally shared by the County and the Flood Control District. NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: Consulting Services Agreement ) with Arthur Bauer and ) Associates, Sacramento, ) California ) 4580-6G5512 ) The Public Works Director, having advised this Board that Arthur Bauer and Associates has provided assistance to the County under a previous Agreement executed on April 5, 1983 in developing a strategy for negotiating the acquisition of the San Ramon Branch Line of the Southern Pacific Railroad; and The Public Works Director recommends that the Board approve an agreement with Arthur Bauer and Associates, Sacramento, California, for $7,500, to provide consulting services in connection with the acquisition of the abandoned railroad right of way and authorize the Public Works Director to execute said agreement. The work prepared for this contract is expected to be completed on June 30, 1984.
