CONVENE
MEETING OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
OF
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY
August 14, 2001
Chair Gayle B. Uilkema convened the meeting of the Board of Supervisors this day at 9:03 a.m., in the
Board Chambers, Room 107, of the County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California.
The Deputy Clerk called the roll, Supervisors present were:
John Gioia, District I;
Donna Gerber, District III
Mark DeSaulnier, District IV
Federal D. Glover, District V;
and Chair, Gayle B. Uilkema, District II
The Chair then adjourned to Closed Session in room 105 of the Coun ty Administration Building pursuant to
Closed Session Agenda attached.
At approximately 9:30 a.m., with all Supervisors present, the Board reconvened in its Chambers. County
Counsel stated there was nothing to report from Closed Session.
Following the meeting, the Board adjourned to Closed Session. Following Closed Session, County County
announced by unanimous vote, with all Supervisors present, to provide amicus support in the case of
Bonanno v. Central Contra Costa Transit Authorityfor the depublication of the appellate opinion, and to
engage in amicus support in the case of Charter Communications v. County of Santa Cruz. The Board then
adjourned.
