APPROVE A CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR AN 135-0114/A.1.1
ELEVATOR TOWER ADDITION AT 1305 MACDONALD AVENUE, August 14, 2001
RICHMOND FOR EMPLOYMENT AND HUMAN SERVICES
DEPARTMENT(WW0184)
B. The Board approved a consulting services agreement for architectural and project management
services with Daniel L. Rainey, Architect on November 16, 1999 for the Remodeling and Office
Landscape Partitions Modifications at 1035 MacDonald Avenue, Richmond.
C. Mr. Rainey was selected to provide architectural and project management services for this project
because he successfully completed the schematic design and cost estimating services for the elevator
tower and is knowledgeable of the needs and requirements of the Employment and Human Services
Department.
D. Negotiations have been completed and an appropriate agreement is ready to sign. The County must
proceed with this agreement for architectural services because it does not have sufficient staff to
provide the services.
