DECLARE vacant the seat previously held by Sandi McCray due to resignation from the Human Relations Commission and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy. 2. Perry 10 1448 Oakmont Place Pittsburg, CA 94565 Jennifer Tanouye Youth Associate 33 Bryon Court Alamo, CA BACKGROUND: The Human Relations Commission was established in September 1986 to foster peaceful relations in the interest of preserving the public peace among citizens of different races, religions and national origins; and to promote positive human relationship for the purpose of insuring public peace, health, safety and the general welfare. Ms. McCray has resigned due to personal illness. The Commission Chair and members have interviewed the three individuals named above and nominated these individuals to the Internal Operations Committee for appointment. The Internal Operations Committee considered and approved these nominations at its August 6 meeting as an urgency action, and now recommends appointment of these individuals to the Board of Supervisors.
