APPOINT the following individuals to the Alcohol and Other Drugs Advisory Board:

BACKGROUND:
The Alcohol and Other Drugs Advisory Board (formerly the Substance Abuse Advisory Board)
was established in August 1992. The Advisory Board consists of 21 members: three nominated
by each of the County Supervisors, five At Large members and one At Large Alternate.
There are currently 10 vacancies, 5 of which are At Large and At Large Alternate seats.
On August 6, 2001, the Internal Operations Committee approved the nominations of Michael
R. King and Elizabeth A. Wilson to the Advisory Board, and recommend approval of these
appointments to the Board of Supervisors.
