BACKGROUND/REASON(S) FOR RECOMMENDATION(S) : On September 21, 1999 the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #74-008 with Sylvia Castillo, LCSW, to provide consultation and technical assistance to the Department with regard to child and adolescent mental health programs, including program planning, development, and evaluation services, for the period from September 20, 1999 through September 30 , 2000 . Responsibility for outpatient mental health specialty services involves contracts with individual, group and organizational providers to deliver these services. Approval of Contract #24-950-20 (1) will allow the Contractor to continue providing services, through June 30, 2001 .
