HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 08012000 - C5-C7 C.6 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on August 1, 2000 by the following vote: AYES: SUPERVISORS GIGIA, UILKEMA, DESAULNIER, CANCIAMILIA AND GERBER NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE SUBJECT: Grant permission to completely close a portion of Loring Street, for the purpose of an Art and Wine Festival, in the Crockett area. IT IS ORDERED BY THE BOARD that permission is granted to David Gonzales to partially close Loring Street, except for emergency traffic on August 6, 2000, for the period of 6:00 AM through 8:00 PM subject to the following conditions: 1. Traffic will be detoured via neighboring streets. 2. All signing to be in accordance with the State of California Manual of Traffic Controls. 3. David Gonzales shall comply with the requirements of the Ordinance Code of Contra Costa County. 4. Have on file with the County a Certificate of Insurance in the amount of$1,000,000 for Comprehensive General Public Liability, which names the County as an additional insured. 5. Obtain approval for the closure from the Sheriff s Department,the California Highway Patrol and the Fire District. The Public Works Director having reported that prior approval has been granted to North& South Crest Orange Street Neighborhood Watch group to completely close a portion of South Crest Avenue, except for emergency traffic, on August 1, 2000 for the period of 6:00 PM through 9:30 PM, subject to the following conditions: 1. Traffic will be detoured via neighboring streets. 2. All signing to be in accordance with the State of California Manual of Traffic Controls. 3. North & South Crest Orange Street Neighborhood Watch Group shall comply with the requirements of the Ordinance Code of Contra Costa County. 4. Provide the County with a Certificate of Insurance in the amount of$1,000,000.00 for Comprehensive General Public Liability, which names the County as an additional insured prior to permit issuance. 5. Obtain approval for the closure from the Sheriff's Department,the California Highway Patrol and the Fire District.
