This position is responsibleforthe day-to-day operation, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of the County's Wide Area Network which supports mission critical system for every department in the County. 'what changes have occurred in the work of this position? There have been no changes in the work of this position. The County last 60%of it's Network support Team and 100 of it's Wide Area Network support staff years ago. This position was created to address this loss, but due to multiple reasons, the County -was unable to attract new st ffor this position In order to continue operation of the County WAN, the positions have been underfilled by individuals -dore�rrt other a titles.
