HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09211999 - C4-C7 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on September 21, 1999, by the following vote: AYES: SUPERVISORS GIOIA, UILKEMAA, GERBER, DE SAULNIER, AND CANCIAMILLA NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE SUBJECT: Ratify previous permission by Public Works Director to Completely Close a portion of Plymouth Avenue, for the Purpose of a Block Party, in the Richmond area. (RC 99-22) The Public Works Director having reported that prior approval has been granted to Plymouth Avenue Neighborhood Watch to completely close Plymouth Avenue, except for emergency traffic, on Saturday, September 11, 1999, from 1:00PM through 5:OOPM, subject to the following conditions: 1. Traffic will be detoured via neighboring streets. 2. All signing to be in accordance with the State of California Manual of Traffic Controls. 3. Plymouth Avenue neighborhood watch shall comply with the requirements of the Ordinance Code of Contra Costa County. 4. Provide the County with a Certificate of Insurance in the amount of$1,000,000.00 for Comprehensive General Public Liability which names the County as an additional insured prior to permit issuance. 5. Obtain approval for the closure from the Sheriff's Department, the California Highway Patrol and the Fire District. IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the action taken by the Public Works Director is approved. Traffic will be detoured via neighboring streets. 2. All signing to be in accordance with the State of California Manual of Traffic Controls. 3. Cynthia Podren shall comply with the requirements of the Ordinance Code of Contra Costa County. 4. Matias Sanchez shall comply with the requirements of the Ordinance Code of Contra Costa County. 4. Traffic will be detoured via neighboring streets. 2. All signing to be in accordance with the State of California Manual of Traffic Controls. 3. Balfour Beatty Construction shall comply with the requirements of the Ordinance Code of Contra Costa County. 4. Provide the County with a Certificate of Insurance in the amount of $1,000,000.00 for Comprehensive General Public Liability which names the County as an additional insured prior to permit issuance. 5. Obtain approval for the closure from the Sheriff s Department,the California Highway Patrol and the Fire District.
