The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THATz
On August 17, 11999, this Board passed Resolution No. 99/426, declaring its intention to
vacate the County streets described in Exhibits "A" and "B-1"e attached hereto and incorporated
herein by this reference, and fixed September 14, 1999 at 9:00 a.m., in its Chambers, as the time
and place for the hearing thereon, and ordered that the resolulLon be published-or posted as
required by law, which was done as shown on affidavits oil file with this Board.

T his Board, hereby FINDS that the public road is unnecessary for permanent public use.
This Board hereby FINDS that the proposed vacation wIA1 not have a significant effect on
,the environment, and that it has been determined to be categorically exempt from the California
Environmental Quality Act under State CEQA Guidelines Section 15312. The proposed vacation
is part of a sale of surplus government property not located in an area of statewide, regional or
area wide concern. This Board DIRECTS the Director of Community Development to fl e a Naflce
of Exemption with the County Clerk and DIRECTS the Public Works Director to arrange for
payment of the $25.00 fee to the County Clerk for filing and a $25.00 fee too mmunity
Development for processing of the Notice of Exemption.
This Board declares that the herein above described proposed vacation area is HEREBY
ORDERED VACATED su�jiect to any reservation and exception described in attached Exhibits
"A.". prom, and after the date this Resolution is recorded, the. portion vacated no longer constitutes
a public highway.
The Real property Division is ORDERED to record a certified copy of this Resolution in the
office of the County Recorder.

File#CP 99- Project Description: The project consists of the sale of two properties to Central
Contra Costa Sanitary District, for expansion of their,facilities. The properties are located at Imhoff
Drive (1,59-150-050) and Imhoff Place (159-150-046). The property on Imhoff Drive is currently
vacant. The property located at Imhoff Place (and abutting Old Imhoff Drive) currently houses t
AnimalSeN. ices facility, which wifl be relocated. The sale will include the portion of Old Imhoff Drive
that abuts the Animal Control facility, as well as the relinquishmnent of Imhoff Place. The Central
Contra Costa Sanitary District will be responsible for obtaining CEQA compliance for activities
associated with future development and the maintenance of the property. Project location: The
