The County leased the 6,1-acre parcel of land located at 4901 Mars Drive, Concord, California, in 19_5, to
The Solano Way Partnership for the operation of a new car dealership. The tenant now desires to extend its
I fro <August 20, 202€ to A g��st 2€I, 2030, with an additional four-year option. A real estate appraiser
was hired to deten<n€ne the vale of the lease extension to the County. The appraiser deter ined a value of
$146,000,00. The tenant has agreed to pay the fill amount of the appraised value to the County as
eon sideration for the lease extension, This action provides County's consent to the Second A end ent to
Lease, which provides for the lease extension and payment.
IVa Consequences ences of Negative Action:
County will not consent to the Second Amendment to Lease, and the Airport Enterprise Fund will :not
receive a payment of$146,000€ 00.
