Last year these workers join our labor movement with the biggest union election win in our County's history. Now they need our help to gain a decent contract Our 1999 Strategic Plan set ga' these workers a fair contract as one of the key objectives for our labor movement. They are proposing that Contra Costa Counq budgetiust 2.5 million, out of a budget of 1..2 billion,to give these workers a 7 an bow wage with health benefits. We ask concerned union members, and community supporters, to join with the IHSS workers when the Contra Costa Board of Supervisors adopt thele new budget.
