Authorize the Evora Road/Goble Drive General Plan Amendment tudy �® change
General Plan land use designation to Commercial (CO) for the following parcels in the Say
Point community: Q_o1YIeDrive - 2.91 acre site faceted at the southwest comer of realigned
Willow Pass Roadand Goble i and, Rqd - 2.35 acre site Drive- &_oLa fte located or, the

souihside of Evora Road,west cf Willow Pass Road opposite Porno Street on the northside
of Highway 4.
Z Granting authorization of this request does not imply any support for this application, but only
that this matter is appropriate for study.

The applicant shall pay an amendment fee to cover the County's cost of this study.
-';-he Contra Costa Transportation Authority and the Real Property Division, County Public Works
Department have requested a General Plan amendment for two County-owned parcels in the Bay
Point communty. The two parcels, one a 2.91 acre site located on Goble Drive and the other a 2.35
acre site located along Evora Road, are remnant or surplus vacant lands which resulted from
roadway improvements constructed for the Willow Pass Road/Highway 4 on and off ramps and
intern esti n. Most of, the Goble Drive site is currently designated as Single Family Residential - High
and Single Family Residential-Medium. The remainder portion of the site is former public road, The
Evora Road site is currently designated as Single Family Residential - lig with an A92, Agriculture,
zoing designation.

Point proposed for the General Pian amendment study.
Staff believes that the request for a study is reasonable and recommends that it be authorized.
Authorization of the study does not imply any concurrence with the request but is limited to the issue
that the concept is worthy of study,
