Approve Review of Selected Business Office Procedures for Antioch Unified School District, a contract proposal from School Services of California, Inc., (SSC), to review selected business office procedures as specified by the Antioch Unified School District (Funding Source: General Fund) On a motion by Mr. Dille and seconded by Mrs. Seelinger, the board unani- mously approved Item 8 with Mrs. Knapp absent. 9. Adopt Revised 1998-99 Budget - This revision attempts to incorporate the new funding the district received as a result of the governor signing the state budget. Another revision will probably come to the board in January after the P-1 attendance. The First Interim runs through the end of October,and it is hopeful that it will be at the November 18th board meeting. The 1996-97 grant money owed to the schools from the district has been returned to the schools. All fee accounts and site grants have been reconciled. SIP and Title 1 has been revised also which will increase school site income. Dr. Maxwell pointed out the transfer of the science center money in Cell I190 regarding the COPs transfer and the foundation. On a motion by Mr. Dille and seconded by Mrs. Seelinger, the board unani- mously approved Item 9 with Mrs. Knave absent. E. Research and Development 1. Approve Change Order No. 7 (final) for West Coast Contractors, Mno Grant Elementary School The $11,800,000 does not include the land. It was $2,900,100 for the land. The Diablo Vista site cost is $8,000,000 because of the type of site it is, slopes, etc. On a motion by Mrs. Seelinger and seconded by Mr. Dille, the board approved the item with Mrs. Knave absent. 2. Approve Grant Deed of Development Rights for the Hillcrest School Services property On a motion by Mr. Dille and seconded by Mrs. Handl the board unani- mously approved Item 2 with Mrs. Knave absent. F. Technology, Media, and Communications 1. None Page 8 of 12- RBOE Minutes of October 28, 1998 XIV. FUTURE MEETINGS A. November 18, 1998 (Joint City/School Board Meeting at 7 p.m. for one hour) Staff is proposing that the early closed session items and potential items for discussion and/or district reports be placed on the agenda earlier than 7 p.m. On a motion by Mrs. Seelinger and seconded by Mr. Dille, the board unanimously approved moving the regular meeting to November 17 and continuing to the November 18 if necessary. On the call for the vote, the board unanimously approved the item with Mrs. Knapp absent. Items of interest to the board in the joint meeting with the city are: the redevelop- ment issues and joint use of facilities. B. December 9, 1998 XV.
