BACKGROUND/REASON(S) FOR RECOMMENDATI A) : For a number of years the County has contracted with Medical, Dental and Mental Health Specialists to provide specialized professional services which are not otherwise available . On February 23 , 1999, the Board of Supervisors approved. Contract #24-986 with Francis Barham, MoD. , for the period from January 19, 1999 through ;rune 18, 1999, for provision of psychiatric services at the Department' s Concord Adult Mental Health Clinic . Approval. of Contract 424-986-1 will allow the Contractor to continue to provide professional psychiatric services, through June 30, 2009 .
