BACXGR0=/REAS0N(S` FOR RECOMMENDATION(S) : On January 14 , 1997, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution #97/17, authorizing the Health Services Department- to contract with. the State Department of Mental Health to assume responsibility -for Medi-Cal menta` health specialty services . Responsibility for outpatienit mental health specialty services involves contracts with individual., group and organizational providers to deliver these services . On July 23, 1991 , the Heard of Supervisors approved Contract 424-939-36 with Michael Rubino, M.F.C.C. , for the period from April 1, 1993 through June 30, 2999, for Medi-Cal menta" health specialty services . Approval of Contract ##24-939-36 (1) will allow the Con tractor to continue providing services, through tune 30, 2000 .
