CESSATION/PERINATAL OUTREACH AND EDUCATION CONFERENCE
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. RECOMMENDATION:
Authorize the Director of County Health Services Department or his designee,Wendel Brunner, M.D.,to hold harmless
and indemnify Pleasant Hill Recreation and Park District for the use of their Community Recreation Center in Pleasant
Hill, CA on October 9, 1998 for a tobacco cessation/perinatal outreach and educationconference.
IT. FISCAL IMPACT:
Conference expenditures are budgeted in State Department of Health Services, Maternal and Child Health contract.
No county funds required.
Ill. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS
The Public Health Division of the County Health Services Department will sponsor a conference on tobacco cessation and
perinatal outreach and education for perinatal providers at the Pleasant Hill Recreation Center:
