The amended language is as follows: 1. Effective March 1, 1998, incumbents of the management classes of Structural Engineer-Building Inspection, Senior Structural Engineer- Building Inspection, and Supervising Structural Engineer-Building Inspection employed in the County Building Inspection Department who possess a valid Certificate of Authority to use the title "Structural Engineer" issued by the California State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers shall, at the discretion of the Department Head, be eligible for a differential of five percent (5%) of monthly base salary.
