Torlakson Appropriation Adjustment From: F4Fe nan ez, sistant Subject: for Building Maintenance on County Admin ator-Finance November 1, 1983 Agenda The budget adjustment listed on the November 1, 1983 agenda (Item No. 1. 27) provides an additional appropriation of $172, 030 to cover the estimated total .of lease-purchase payments and other building expense of $350,500 in fiscal year 1983-1984 for the building located at 2425 Bisso Lane, Concord. The adopted Final Budget includes $178, 470 for this facility as it was contemplated that the balance of bond proceeds and the interest earned thereon in the total amount of $172, 030 would be available for payment of obligations under the lease. However, since these monies were paid by the trustee to the County before the end of fiscal year 1982-1983 they were recorded at the time as current revenue; consequently, they are not available for the offset of expenditures in fiscal year 1983-1984. The adjustment also recognizes increased revenue of $16,480 from rentals and $59 , 550 from interest earnings on bond proceeds which must be retained by the trustee in accordance with the bond indenture.
