CONVENE CS.
MEETING OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
OF
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY
SEPTEMBER 23, 1997
Chair Mark DeSaulnier convened the meeting of the Board of
Supervisors this day at 9 : 03 A.M. in the Board Chambers, Room
107, of the County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street,
Martinez, California. The Clerk called the roll, and Supervisors
present were :
Supervisor Gayle B. Uilkema, District II
Supervisor Donna Gerber, District III
Supervisor Mark DeSaulnier, District IV
Supervisor Joe Canciamilla, District V
The Chair then adjourned the meeting to Closed Session in
Room 105 of the County Administration Building pursuant to the
Closed Session Agenda attached.
At 10 :26 A.M. , with all five Supervisors present, the Board
reconvened in its Chambers . Victor Westman, County Counsel
announced that in Closed Session by a unanimous vote of all the
Supervisors, Michael Ross, Administrative Services Officer, was
appointed Director of the Animal Services Department . The Board
then proceeded with its Agenda.
