Recommended Action: APPROVE Second Amendment to Agreement for Professional Right of Way Management Services to the City of Brentwood for a variety of projects and AUTHORIZE the Board Chair to sign the amendment on behalf of the County. APPROVE Second Amendment to Agreement for Professional Right of Way Management Services to the Brentwood Redevelopment Agency for a variety of projects and AUTHORIZE the Board Chair to sign the amendment on behalf of the County. Financial Impact: The City of Brentwood and the Brentwood Redevelopment Agency will pay the actual costs for Real Property and Right of Way Engineering staff services. Ill. Background and Reasons for Recommendations: The City of Brentwood and the Brentwood Redevelopment Agency require a variety of right of way services but have no real property or right of way engineering staff and desire to contract with the County for these services. IV. Consequences of Negative Action: Less efficient government because the City of Brentwood and the Brentwood Redevelopment Agency would have to hire additional private contractors at greater expense. 03 CITY OF BRENTWOOD Second Amendment to Agreement for Professional Right of Way Management Services This Amendment is intended to extend an existing Agreement for Professional Right of Way services between the City of Brentwood (hereinafter referred to as "City") and County of Contra Costa (hereinafter referred to as "County") which was effective on January 23, 1996. Amendment This agreement is hereby amended as follows: Term This agreement shall commence on October 1, 1997, and shall remain in full force and effect until September 30, 1998. Effect Except for the amendment agreed to herein, said Agreement remains in full force and effect.
