October 25, 1983 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors -Powers, Fanden, McPeak, Torlakson NOES: None ABSENT: Supervisor Schroder ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: In the matter of Award of Contract for Construction of the Standby Engine Drive Water Well No. 2, Discovery Bay Area, Project No. 7393-6X5262-83 Bidder Total Amount Bond Amounts Alan A. Bradford Company $1079768.00 Labor & Mats. $53,884.00 P.O. Box 101 Faith Perf. $53,884.00 Rheem Valley, CA 94570 Robert J. Collins Dalzell Corporation Tyler Construction Albay Construction Company The above-captioned project and the specifications therefor being approved, bids being duly invited and received by the District Engineer; and The District Engineer recommending that the bid listed first above is the lowest responsible bid and this Board, as the governing body of Contra Costa County, Sanitation District No. 19 concurring and so finding; IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED, that the contract for the furnishing of labor and materials for said work is awarded to said first listed bidder at the listed amount and at the unit prices submitted in said bid; and that said contractor shall present two good and sufficient surety bonds as indicated above; and that the Sanitation District shall prepare the contract therefor. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that, after the contractor has signed the contract and returned it together with bonds as noted above and any required certificates of insurance or other required documents, and the District Engineer has reviewed and found them to be sufficient, the District Engineer is authorized to sign the contract for this Board.
