Reasons for Recommendations and Background: By the above referenced document Shapell Industries is granting the County's contractor permission to use a portion of Shapell's property along Dougherty Road to complete culvert improvements and shoulder repair. Shapell also agrees to provide the County with a secure site for stockpiling clean soil for the shoulder work. County agrees to indemnify Shapell from any damages or injury which might result from the County's activities on Shapell's land. IV. Consequences of Negative Action: The County's contractor would have to seek a more remote staging area, resulting in higher cost to the County.
