This letter supplements the Side Letter of May 31, 1995, which memorializes other terms and conditions of employment for temporaries, as follows: 1. Effective the first day of the month following adoption of this Letter of Understanding, temporary employees in the classes of Cook and Lead Cook who are employed by the Probation Department in a 24-hour institution shall be compensated at the rate of 1 and '/2 times regular hourly rate (time and one-half) for all hours worked on a regularly scheduled holiday, provided that the employee has completed at least 2080 hours service.
