The Anne Loucks Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, requests that the Supervisors of Contra Costa County also proclaim the week of September 17 through 23 as Constitution Week. This provides all of us an excellent opportunity for the citizens of Contra Costa County to celebrate- and reflect upon the quality of our basis government and those who originated this form of government. Please find enclosed some sample proclamations. The Anne Loucks Chapter will be providing a display in the entrance lobby of the Contra Costa Library, main location in Pleasant Hill, for the month of September. We will be featuring the United States Constitution and plan to display your proclamation as a part of this exhibit. Please send the proclamation to me at the above address. Thank you.
