WEEK" in Contra Costa County )
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
WHEREAS, Merrithew Memorial Hospital and Health Care Centers are observing and
celebrating National Materiels Management Week during the first week in October; and
WHEREAS, Contra Costa County recognizes and values the contributions of materiels
management employees to their institutions as well as the health care industry; and
WHEREAS, materiels management is an essential component of the delivery of health care
services to the citizens of Contra Costa County; and
WHEREAS, materiels management services plays a vital role in the delivery of cost-
effective health care; and
WHEREAS, Contra Costa County is proud and honored to have Merrithew Memorial
Hospital and Health Care Centers' quality materiels management staff and support
throughout the county.
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED THAT THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA
COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, proclaim September 29, - October 5, 1996, "National
Materiels Management Week", in Contra Costa County, and encourage all citizens to
renew their commitment to people with disabilities and to the efforts of rehabilitative
medicine in improving quality of life.
