Adopted this Order on September 10, 1996 by the following vote:

ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
SUBJECT: Grant Permission to completely close a portion of Bixler Road, Byron area,
for the purpose of road reconstruction. (RC-96-26)
IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that permission is granted to Centex Homes to
completely close, except for emergency traffic, a portion of Bixler Avenue north of Highway 4 for
the period of August 22, 1996 through September 15, 1996, for the purpose of road reconstruction,
subject to the following conditions:
1. Traffic will be detoured via neighboring streets per plan accepted by the Public Works
Department.
2. All signing to be in accordance with the State of California Manual of Traffic Controls.
3. Centex Homes shall comply with the requirements of the Ordinance Code of Contra Costa
County.
4. Have on file with the County a Certificate of Insurance in the amount of$1,000,000 for
Comprehensive General Public Liability which names the County as an additional insured.
5. Obtain approval for the closure from the Sheriffs Department, the California Highway Patrol
and the Fire District.
