SUBJECT: LEASE FOR DISTRICT ATTORNEY AND PUBLIC DEFENDER
SPECIFIC REQUESTS OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. RECOMMENDATION
AUTHORIZE the County Auditor-Controller to pay increased rent during the holdover period as
scheduled in the Lease for the option period, commencing June 1, 1996, for the premises at 3024
Willow Pass road, Concord, for continued occupancy by the District Attorney and Public Defender
otherwise under the terms and conditions more particularly set forth in the Lease for said premises
dated November 27, 1984.
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT
Payments required are to come from the budget of the General Services Department.
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND
Provide for continued use of office space as requested by the District Attorney and Public Defender.
