The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
On October 11, 1983, the Board adopted Resolution No. 83/1084 which
vacated Wayside Lane, Walnut Creek. This Board hereby DETERMINES that
Wayside Lane, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, was previously
subject to a street, highway or public service easement, and is surplus
and not required for public use.
Pursuant to Streets and Highways Code .-Section 8355 and 8356 this Board
hereby APPROVES the sale of the above described property for $18,824.00
and AUTHORIZES the Chairman to sign a Quitclaim Deed to:
Buyer Purchase Price
Paraty Investors, a limited $189824.00
partnership and Desco Investment, Inc.
a California Corporation
The Real Property Division is instructed to cause said deed to be
delivered to grantee upon receipt of said payment (cash, check, etc. ) ,
when all terms and conditions have been complied with.

EXHIBIT 'A'
A portion of the County road known as Wayside Lane, being a portion of the
Rancho Las Juntas, situated in the County of Contra Costa, State of California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the northwesterly corner of that certain parcel of land described
in the deed from Lewis H. Albers, et al , to Contra Costa County; recorded
May 22, 1952 in Book 1936 of Official Records, at page 372, records of Contra
Costa County, California; thence from said point of beginning south 050 15' 00"
west, 496.57 feet along the west right of way line of Wayside Lane (formerly
known as Sunset Lane) to a point on the south line of that certain parcel
of land described in the deed to Wayside Associates, a limited partnership;
recorded May 22, 1980, in Book 9861 of Official Records, at page 284; thence
leaving said west right of way line along the easterly prolongation of said
south line north 890 16' 00" east, 50.27 feet to the east right of way line
of Wayside Lane (1936 O.R. 372) ; thence along said east right of way line
north 050 15' 00" east, 496.36 feet to the north boundary line of said Wayside
Lane (1936 O.R. 372) ; thence along said north boundary south 890 30' 00"
west, 50.25 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing an area of 24,821 square feet or 0.57 acres of land more or less.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the following described parcel :
Beginning at the northeasterly corner of said Contra Costa County parcel
(1936 O.R. 372); thence from said point of beginning south 050 15' 00" west,
240.00 feet along the east right of way line of Wayside Lane (formerly Sunset
Lane) to a point on the south line of said Subdivision 5802 (251 M 9); thence
south 890 16' 00" west, 25.14 feet along the westerly prolongation of said
south line to centerline of said Wayside Lane (1936 O.R. 372) ; thence along
said centerline north 050 15' 00" east, 240.10 feet to a point on the north
boundary line of Wayside Lane (1936 O.R. 372); thence north 890 30' 00" east
25.12 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing an area of 6000.95 square feet or 0.14 acre of land more or less.
RESERVING THEREFROM, pursuant to the provisions of Section 8340 of the Streets
and Highways Code, the easement and right at any time, or from time to time,
to construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove and renew sanitary sewers
and storm drains and appurtenant structures in, upon, over and across any
highway or part thereof proposed to be abandoned and pursuant to any existing
franchise or renewals thereof, or otherwise, to construct, maintain, operate,
replace, remove, renew and enlarge lines of pipe, conduits, cables, wires,
poles, and other convenient structures, equipment and fixtures for the operation
of gas pipelines, telegraphic and telephone lines, railroad lines and for
the transportation or distribution of electric energy, petroleum and its
products, ammonia, water, and for incidental purposes, including access to
protect the property from all hazards in upon and over the area hereinbefore
described.
