C.87 LETTER, dated July 29, 1996, received from John Fulwider, Don Black, Margaret Wiley,
Hugh Afshar, and Michael Johnston, c/o 6975 Johnston Road, Pleasanton, CA 94588-
9593,property owners, Pleasanton Area, referring to an application of Wilbert Perry to
subdivide his property on Johnston Road, Pleasanton, and requesting the imposition of a
condition for a grant of easement on the west side of the creek through the Perry property.
****REFERRED TO THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
C. 88 LETTER, dated July 26, 1996, received from the Contra Costa Council, Industrial
Association, Council of Industries, the Western State Petroleum Association, the contra
Costa Taxpayers Association, and the California Contractors Alliance, 2694 Bishop Drive,
Suite 121, San Ramon, CA 94583, expressing their support for SB 1889 (Calderon) which
would enable Contra Costa County to become a Certified United Program Agency (CUPA)
for the Risk Management Plan (RMP).

C.89 LETTER, dated July 12, 1996, Bettencourt Ranch Homeowners Association, Board of
Directors, advising of their review and opposition of the Dame' Construction Company's
plans for the detention basin area entitled "Private Park".

Dear: Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors
You have before you a request from Wilbert Perry to subdivide his property on Johnston
Road. We would like to request that,as a condition of this subdivision,a fifty foot wide right-of
way be granted following the easement along the west side of the creek through the Perry property
that we and the property owners before us have used for generations. This right-of-way to be an
appurtenance to those parcels using the road through the Perry properties.
The right-of-way/easement to be a standard 50 feet wide or greater as the count-y sees best. The

easement
The right-of-way/easement to include those necessary entitlements that allow electrical lines,utility
lines and other commercially available services that use power poles,waterlines, water pipes,etc.
The right-of-way/easement must meet up with the existing right-of-ways on properties adjoining
the Perry parcel. This will be necessary to protect the existing property owners access as further
developerrients occur in our valley.
