HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 08131996 - C2 • THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA C, Z Adopted this Resolution on August 13, 1996, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Rogers, Bishop, DeSaulnier, Torlakson, Smith NOES: None ABSENT:None ABSTAIN: None RESOLUTION NO. 961364 (S & H § 8355) Subject: Property Exchange Brookside Drive - North Richmond Area Project No. 0662-6R4059 The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: The Board hereby DETERMINES that the real property described in Exhibit "A," being uneconomic remnants acquired by deed recorded April 15, 1996, Series 96 62532 and by final order recorded May 1, 1996, Series 96 80616, for the realignment of Brookside Drive, and that portion of Brookside Drive described in the Resolution of Vacation No. 96/ 364 adopted August 13, 1996, are no longer needed for road purposes or by the public. Brookside Industrial Partners, et al, the owners of the real property described in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made a part hereof, needed for the realignment of Brookside Drive, have agreed to exchange said real property for the real property described in Exhibit "A." The Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of said properties, described in Exhibit "A," to Brookside Industrial Partners et al, pursuant to Streets and Highway Code Section 8355, and the Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Quitclaim Deed and a Grant Deed on behalf of the County. The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to deposit the deeds into escrow, pursuant to the stipulation for judgment in Contra Costa County vs. Brookside Industrial Partners, et al, Contra Costa County Superior Court Case No. C95-02201, at such time as the judgment and final order are filed with the court.
