Authority's oldest public housing development, thi's program is. targeting 5.0-80
pubic housina, Section 8, and community Youth, the program is building on
a model referenced by BUD Secretary Cisneros in his '`Ards in Public
Housing" programs and on inti-drug alternative activities. "arts Alive'° aril[
erre youthbetween the age's of 12 and 18. Two three-hour classes will be
offered each day c��r�rir�g performing �r�d ri�er� arts. This progra.mts plat
effortfor the new Contra Costa County Arts & �ul�ure Commiss cin �rv€�ich
intends to replicate it with outside funding in future years.
