SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATIONS
APPROVE conveyance of real property to San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District, and
AUTHORIZE the Executive Director or his designee to sign a Grant Deed to the District on
behalf of the Agency.

BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS
The Deed conveys to the Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BARTD) a small 872 square foot
strip of excess property adjacent to Coggins Drive, as provided for in the Amended and
Restated Acquisition and Development Agreement between the County Redevelopment
Agency and BARTD, approved on October 24, 1995.

EXHIBIT "A"
Real property in an unincorporated area of Rancho Las Juntas, Contra Costa County, California,
described as follows:
A portion of PARCEL B-21 described in the deed to Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency,
hereinafter referred to as "Agency", recorded September 16, 1986 in Volume 13123 at page 371 and a
portion of PARCEL B-33 described in the Quitclaim Deed to said Agency recorded September 16, 1986
in Volume 13123 at page 395, both in Official Records of said County, more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at the most southern comer of said PARCEL B-33 (13123 O.R. 395); thence from the Point
of Beginning, along the west line of said PARCEL B-33, north 17021'46"east 22.35 feet, to a point of cusp
with a non-tangent curve, concave to the west, having a radius of 60.00 feet, to which a radial bears north
76008'22"east; thence leaving the boundary of PARCEL B-33, southerly 31.67 feet along the arc of said
curve, through a central angle of 30014'34", to a reverse curve concave to the east having a radius of
350.00 feet; thence along the arc of said reverse curve, southerly 115.61 feet, through a central angle
of 18055'33", to the west line of said PARCEL B-21 (13123 O.R. 371), being a point of cusp with a non-
tangent curve, concave to the west, having a radius of 141.00 feet, to which point a radial bears north
87027'23"east; thence along the west line of said PARCEL B-21 as follows: 1) northerly 18.18 feet along
the arc of said curve, through a central angle of 7°23'19", to a reverse curve, concave to the east,.having
a radius of 200.00 feet, 2) along the arc of said reverse curve, northerly 95.28 feet, through a central
angle of 27017'42", and 3) north 17021'46" east 12.54 feet, to the Point of Beginning.
Containing an area of 872 square feet (0.020 acre) of land, more or less.
Together with the underlying fee interest, if any, appurtenant to the above described parcel in and to any
adjoining streets, alleys, public ways or railroad rights of way.
Subject to special assessments, if any, restrictions, reservations, easements, and other matters of record.
Bearings are based on the California Coordinate System Zone III (CCS27).
