REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONBACKGROUND On April 25, 1995,the Antioch City approved the allocation of$36,400 in FY 1995 CDBG funds to provide partial funding to rehabilitate the Central County Homeless Shelter located at 2047C Arnold Industrial Way in North Concord. Since December of 1991,the County has operated a shelter at this facility to pryide emergency housing for up to 60 homeless adults year-round,with an additional 40 beds potentially available for winter relief.
